TXT is expanding its own record for 2021 on the Billboard 200!
The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, which debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 three months ago, is now the first K-pop album of 2021 to be in the charts for eleven weeks. (Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums Chart, commonly referred to as “the Billboard 200,” is the weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States).
In the week that ended September 11th, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE landed at number 26, extending its own record as the longest-charted K-pop album of the year.
After BTS and BLACKPINK, TXT is only the third K-Pop artist in history to post an album on the Billboard 200 for eleven weeks.
The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE also made notable hits on several other Billboard charts this week. The album stayed at # 1 on the World Albums Chart in its 14th week and stayed strong at # 5 on the Top Album Sales Chart in its 13th week, building its own record as the longest K-pop album of 2021 on both of them Diagrams.
Additionally, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” was # 3 on Billboard’s Tastemaker Albums chart this week and # 5 on the current top album sales charts, while their latest track was “LO $ ER = LO ♡ ER” Number 1 landed .12 on the worldwide charts of digital song sales.
Ultimately, TXT landed at number 23 on Billboards Artist 100.
