This is Pledis entertainment.
We would like to provide some information about SEVENTEEN’s activities in Korea and abroad for the second half of the year.
Our company offers full support for both group and individual activities of SEVENTEEN. We plan our members’ Korean and international activities by exploring a variety of member opportunities to ensure that the artists reach their full potential as close to our fans as possible.
As part of this effort, SEVENTEEN members Jun and The8 will focus on their activities in China from September to December. They will resume their work in China postponed by COVID-19 and spend time with their families after being separated from them for extended periods of time due to the pandemic.
Moving between countries and regions currently requires an inordinate amount of time and effort due to the serious challenges posed by the current situation with international and regional travel, as well as the obligation to self-quarantine, and after the situation with the members of SEVENTEEN, Jun and The8 will continue their activities in China for the time being.
Please note that SEVENTEEN will be participating in its promotions in Korea with 11 members during this period.
We ask for your generous understanding and stay tuned for the diverse activities of SEVENTEEN in Korea and abroad in the second half of the year.
Thanks very much.”
According to the announcement, the Chinese members of SEVENTEEN, Jun and The8, will return to their homeland to conduct their own activities. With this temporary agreement, Carats (the fandom name of SEVENTEEN) doesn’t have to worry.
